Abacus

Gnanodaya International School conducted Abacus activity as part of the academic year 2025–26 to strengthen students’ mathematical skills and mental calculation ability.

The activity helped students improve concentration, memory, speed, accuracy, and logical thinking through regular practice. Students learned to solve arithmetic problems using abacus techniques, which supported their confidence in numbers and problem-solving.

Abacus also encouraged students to develop patience, focus, listening skills, and quick decision-making. The sessions made mathematics more interesting and engaging for young learners.

Overall, the Abacus activity was a valuable learning experience that enhanced students’ numerical ability, concentration, and confidence in mathematics.
