Field Trips
Gnanodaya International School organized a Fire Station Visit for KG to Grade II students as part of the academic year 2025–2026. The visit was planned to create awareness among young learners about fire safety, emergency response, and the important role of firefighters in protecting the community.
During the visit, the students observed the fire engine, firefighting tools, safety equipment, fire extinguishers, life jackets, and rescue materials. The fire and rescue personnel explained the basic safety measures to be followed during emergencies and demonstrated how water hoses and firefighting equipment are used.
The children listened with great curiosity and actively observed the demonstrations. They also learned about the importance of staying calm, following safety instructions, and seeking help during emergency situations.
Teachers accompanied the students throughout the visit and ensured that the session was safe, informative, and well-organized. Overall, the Fire Station Visit 2025–2026 was a valuable experiential learning activity that helped students understand fire safety in a simple and practical way.
